Jordan Bowman on recovery success: When Jordan was 16, he found himself addicted alcohol and opiates such as Fentanyl and Heroine. Feeling trapped and not knowing what else to do, he just kept using and eventually fell so deep into addiction, he felt there was no way out. Jordan’s family reached out and got him into treatment at the Last Door Youth Program. Jordan’s clean date is January 11th 2016 and ever since then, he has been involved in the recovery community in New Westminster. Jordan now works at Last Door Recovery Society and makes a difference in the lives of other youth. https://lastdoor.org.
Sgt. Julie Birtch, School Liason Officer with the Vancouver PD, will share some of her thoughts on drug use, experiences with youth in the community & the new marijuana laws!
